Adhesive Bathtub Treads How to apply: 1. For porcelain, steel, and cast-iron tubs, chean tub surface with non-abrasive scouring powder and warm water. For Fiberglass, ABS and other plastic tubs, clean surface according to manufacturer's instruction. Warning: Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to prepare suface or tub treads will not adhere properly. 2. Rinse thorought. Allow the tub to dry. 3. Arrange tub treads in the tub with the backing in place to determine ideal positioning. Position tub treads at least one to three inches apart for better surface coverage. 4. Remove backing from tub tread and apply one at a time to tub surface. 5. Press tub tread evenly on the tub surface and try to avoid stretching. 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 with additional tub treads until all the tub treads are applied. 7. Allow the tub treads to stand for at least 12 hours before using tub or shower.
